Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the DAAS team has set up an online learning plan for students and parents to help keep up with daily assignments. Whether all students are online or only some students are online while others are learning in person, we will follow this plan. Through Class Dojo, Seesaw, or Schoology, you will have access to all assignments and video links.
Class Dojo will be our primary communication tool. Please download the App (links below) and reach out to your child’s teacher for the login information if you don’t have it already. If you have trouble contacting your child’s teacher, contact us at pc@daask12.com.
If your child needs support for an iPad (K-1) or a Chromebook (2-8) we are available at the school on school days from 8 am to 4 pm.
K-2
Grades K-2nd will use the Seesaw App to receive and turn in assignments (please reach out to your child’s teacher for setting up and logging into Seesaw and Class Dojo). Class Dojo will be our primary communication tool.
SEESAW APP:
3-5
Grades 3-5 will use Class Dojo as our primary communication tool. Please reach out to your child’s teacher for setting up and logging into Class Dojo. Other platforms being used will be communicated by the teachers. These include Khan Academy and iReady (Math).
6-8
Grades 6th – 8th will use Class Dojo as our primary communication tool. Please reach out to your child’s teacher for setting up and logging into Class Dojo. Other platforms being used will be communicated by the teachers. These include AmplifyScience, iReady (Math) and Edmodo.
Each student is expected to attend ALL classroom lessons, whether in person or by Zoom. For the live Zoom link, log into Class Dojo (link is under Class Story).
