We are proud to announce the winner and runner-up of our elementary school spelling bee. More than three hundred elementary students competed in the first round spelling bee. However, only 15 elementary students are allowed to advance to the second round championship. Fourth grader Eugene Minor won first place, and fourth grader Taniya Smith won second place beating out their third grade and fifth grade competitors. Furthermore, Eugene Minor and Taniya Smith have qualified to represent our school in the 11th Annual Michigan Charter School State Championship Spelling Bee on Friday, April 17, 2015. Congratulations Eugene and Taniya!
