The DAAS Honor Society teamed up with the Pep Squad to collect personal care items, nonperishable food and winter accessories to be donated to the homeless and less fortunate. The cheer team, student council and several staff members also contributed to the cause. What a great team effort! These items were delivered to the Detroit Rescue Mission and Alternatives for Girls.
Both organizations were very thankful and appreciative to receive such great gifts of love just in time for Valentine’s Day. The Honor Society students would like to thank all who took the time to purchase and donate to this awesome service effort.
